My name is Peter Sanders, and I love a story where there is an antagonist that seems like pure evil until you get to know their backstory and motivations and suddenly everything has changed. Characters like Emet-Selch from the video game Final Fantasy 14, and Uchiha Itachi from the anime Naruto are so impactful to me (also yes,I am a huge geek). My guess is that you are here because you have an internal villain that you can't beat. Your nemesis may be intrusive thoughts, compulsive behavior, anxiety, depression, addictions, self-criticism, suicidal thoughts, trauma flashbacks or thoughts of suicide. You have been waging war with them, reading self-help books, watching Tiktok and YouTube videos learning new strategies to beat them, but the battle never seems to end or just want to give up. Meanwhile, you have so much effort dedicated to fighting or running from this part of you, that you aren't living the life you want to live.
You might even be on this site because you feel that my training can give you the secret weapon to beat them, or that I can be summoned into battle to one-shot that stupid part of you. Have you ever stopped to wonder, what is this internal villain fighting for? Right now they probably seem like a choatic evil villain, because they love to see you suffer, but my bet is that they are actually a tragic villain who thinks they are a hero protecting you. Where my training can help you is to move toward understanding the purpose this has and changing the way you perceive this part of you so it can ease up on the job it is doing. Once we know what it is trying to do, we can help them to find new ways to accomplish their goals that aren't so painful or destructive to your life. So are you ready to flip your internal story on its head, and stop fighting an internal villain and start living your life?
